Olivia Flores Dalton, a gentle and generous soul, passed away peacefully at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas, on September 10, 2023, at the age of 93. Born on May 8, 1930, in the same city, Olivia lived a life of selfless dedication, always putting her family and others before herself.
Olivia was a woman of incredible strength and resilience. She was a pillar of her community and a beacon of support for her loved ones. Her generous spirit was evident in her daily life, always going out of her way to help those in need. Olivia was gentle in her manner, yet her resolve was formidable, a combination that earned her the admiration of all who knew her.
Her love for her family was profound and boundless. Olivia was the beloved mother of her son Reynaldo Flores and his ex wife Belinda Franco, and her daughters, Rosalinda Jaramillo and her husband Robert, and Mercy Leal and her husband Louis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Dalton; and son, Lorenzo Dalton and a special friend of 25 years, Marcos. Olivia cherished her role as a grandmother and was especially close to her granddaughter Ruth A. Franco, who she considered like a daughter. She also had a special bond with her great grandson Mason Flores, among 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren who all held a special place in her heart.
Olivia found joy in dancing, it brought her much happiness and kept her spirit young. She was often the life of family gatherings, her graceful moves captivating all present. Family meant everything to Olivia, and she took great pleasure in hosting family dinners and holiday celebrations. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and love, where everyone was always welcome. Her legacy of generosity and selflessness will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Olivia Flores Dalton was a woman who lived her life with grace, dignity, and a deep love for her family. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her life celebrated for the remarkable woman that she was.
Those who knew Olivia were blessed to have known such a radiant soul. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and selfless nature made her a joy to be around. Olivia Flores Dalton touched countless lives with her kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Olivia’s Family will receive condolences on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St at Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
