Pablo Ahumada passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 87. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved baseball; especially the New York Yankees. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio Ahumada and Maria De Jesus Campos Ahumada; son, Juan Pablo Ahumada; daughter, Maria Isabel Ahumada; and grandson, Luis Alberto Rodriguez.
Pablo is survived by his wife of 63 years, Juana Maria Ahumada; children, Marisol (Herman) Aguilar, Ana (Jose) Rodriguez, Stella (Javier) Garza, Victor Ahumada, Jose Luis Ahumada, Janelle (Joseph) Martinez, and Ozzie (Rebecca) Ahumada; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Maria (Blas) Gomez and Soledad Ahumada; a special brother, Santiago Bonifacio (Concepcion) Perez; and host of aunts, uncles, and extended family.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 17, 2021, to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
