Patricia "Patty" Green Obituary

Patricia Jeanne “Patty” Green, a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on November 1, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, Patricia was known for her love of nature, particularly flowers and plants, and her unwavering dedication to family and friends.

Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Carl “Bob” Green and Dorothy DeeAnn “Dee” Green. She was also predeceased by her sister, Margaret “Maggie” Bailiff, and her significant other, Greg Mcnickel. Patricia is survived by her sister, Theresa “Teri” Green Mireles (Homer), her sister Kathryn “Kathie” Green, and her brother, Dennis Green (Peggy). She was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Patricia was a proud graduate of Plano High School. Following her graduation, she moved to Chicago where she found her calling in the world of horticulture. For 30 years, Patricia worked for Green Expectations, where she nurtured and cared for their plants with the same love and dedication she showed to her family and friends. Her love for flowers and plants was not just a job, but a lifelong passion that brought her immense joy and satisfaction.

Beyond her professional life, Patricia was known for her love of children and cats. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews, and all children who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia was a woman of many virtues, but above all, she was loving. She had a heart full of love for her family, friends, and all living things. Her love was a source of comfort and strength to those who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.

Patricia's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her spirit lives on in the beautiful gardens she tended, the children she loved, and the cats she cared for. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of nature, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In the end, Patricia Jeanne Green was more than just a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She was a beacon of love and kindness, a nurturer of life, and a lover of all things beautiful. Her legacy will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she loved, just like the flowers and plants she so tenderly cared for. Patricia's life was a garden, beautifully tended and lovingly nurtured, and she leaves behind a world more beautiful for having been a part of it.
