Rene is survived by his loving wife, Norma;his sons, Joshua, Jared, and Joseph; and his siblings, Israel (Maria Cruz) Cavazos, Gloria (Samuel) Alvarez, Paulita de la Rosa, Jose (Maggie) Cavazos, Rosalva Marquez, Baldemar Cavazos, Susana Cavazos, and Margot Cavazos. His extended family of cousins, nieces, and an aunt will also remember him fondly.
