Ricardo "Richard" Sanchez

Ricardo “Richard” Sanchez passed away June 21, 2022, at the age of 61. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Richard was born in Sinton, TX on August 16, 1960. He was raised and attended school in Rockport, TX. He enjoyed reading about history. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He loved making everyone smile and laugh. Richard worked in construction and as a painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustolio and Simona Sanchez; brothers, Juan, Luciano, Angel, and Guadalupe Sanchez; and sisters, Esperanza Garcia, Anita Cruz, and Angelina Cantu.

Left to cherish Richard’s memory are his brothers, Daniel (Melba) Sanchez and David Sanchez; his sisters, Sylvia Vasquez, Gloria (David) Pena, and Mary Olson; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @Port Ave, from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM; with a Celebration of Life to begin at 12:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
