Samuel Ambriz Deleon Sr

Samuel Ambriz Deleon Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away in Corpus Christi on October 11, 2023. Born on October 28, 1947, in Raymondville, Texas, he was a man of great kindness and optimism, always showing love to those around him.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Cavazos Deleon and Esther Rodriguez Ambriz, and his siblings, Manuel Deleon Jr, Francisco Deleon, Marianna Deleon, and Manuel Deleon III.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Maria Guadalupe Deleon. Their love story was a beautiful testament to their commitment and devotion to each other. He is also survived by his siblings, Deamantina Deleon and Noe Deleon.
Samuel was a proud father of three, Samuel Deleon Jr, Luis A. Deleon, and Belma Deleon.

Samuel was also a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His legacy will live on through them, as they remember the lessons he taught them and the love he showed them. His numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members will also remember him fondly.

A man of simple pleasures, Samuel enjoyed spending time with his family. He cherished every moment, whether it was a quiet evening at home or a lively family gathering. He was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan.
 

Samuel Ambriz Deleon Sr. was a man who embodied love, kindness, and optimism. His life was a testament to these qualities, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Samuel’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port Ave; with a Eulogy to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
