Santiago R. Beltran, born on November 27, 1931, to Victoriano and Guadalupe Beltran in Burnet, Texas, passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 90. He enjoyed hunting and loved his grandchildren dearly. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beatriz C. Beltran; parents, Victoriano and Guadalupe Beltran; brothers, Audon Beltran, Pedro Beltran, Placido Beltran, and Jose Beltran; grandparents, Sotero and Santiaga Rojas; and aunts and uncles who helped raise Jimmy, Pedro and Audon, Atilana Ruiz, Estanislada Salinas, Encarnacion Rojas, Gregorio Rojas, and Jesus Rojas.
Left to cherish his memory are his stepson, Sonny Arellano (Barbara Graves); grandson, Tony Arellano; granddaughter; Audi L. (David) Olvera; great-grandchildren, Max R. Arellano and Ronin Beatriz Olvera; bonus grandsons, Gavin R. Koenning and Sammy R. Koenning; sister-in-law, Juanita Beltran; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice, TX, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Alice, TX. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
