Obituary

William Harold Heuston passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 73. He served our county in the United States Navy. He retired on January 31, 1998 after serving as a Police Officer for 29 years with the Corpus Christi Police Department. William was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Heuston and Juanita Parker, and his stepdad, Carl Parker.

William is survived by his wife of 36 years, Maria “Dollie” Trevino-Heuston; sons, William C. Heuston and John Michael (Miriam) Heuston; stepsons, Luis Trevino, Elddy (Liz) Trevino, and Michael (Kim) Garza; stepdaughters, Sandra (Fred) Rocha and Bianca Tanguma; 28 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one due in October; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a chapel service to begin at 12:30 PM.  Rite of Committal and Interment with full military honors will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
